Our Approach
Luxury spa, Ragdale Hall, aspired to redevelop their leisure facility set in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside. The site dates back to the 1800s and is now a market leading spa facility within luxurious accommodation and surroundings.
The redevelopment included the addition of a 500m² rooftop infinity pool, new ambient lounge and an exercise pool. A relaxation lounge, changing facilities, grand access staircase and plant room were also included in the development.
Before work could begin on the M&E installation, extensive modifications were required to the existing roof-mounted air handling plant and electrical services cabling to make way for the new facilities. Also, a number of underground obstructions were discovered which required architectural and structural re-design work.
A key challenge was the existing building was required to remain open to the public throughout the works with minimal disruption. To achieve this we created an extensive enabling works package for all the building services. This resulted in business as usual for the client during the works.
