CPW are RoSPA gold winners

We are delighted to announce that we have won a Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) gold award for our dedication to health and safety.

The gold award celebrates companies that have achieved a very high level of performance, demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss.

After winning a silver award last year, we’re delighted that our dedication to progress and improving our health and safety culture has paid off.

Nicola Knowles, Health & Safety Support, said: “We understand the importance of health and safety and ensuring it’s more than just a tick box but part of our everyday approach to keep our staff, and those we touch through design, safe. Winning silver last year was a huge accolade so we’re beyond thrilled to win gold.

“Our win in 2021 provided the benchmark, and we’ve spent the last 12 months improving our responsibilities on a company-wide and individual level – from Apprentice to Director. We have dedicated health and safety champions who ensure regular feedback and communication to and from staff and the board. Our Directors work alongside their teams to lead by example and we ensure our teams are regularly briefed on any changes to legislation.

“As a result of our positive work, our team feel comfortable raising and sharing health and safety matters with the team or a champion – which enables everyone to work safely. We’re really pleased with our gold award and will strive to spend the next year building on this success.”

The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards is the largest occupational health and safety awards programme in the UK. Now into its 67th year, the Awards have almost 2,000 entries every year, covering nearly 50 countries and a reach of over seven million employees.

Julia Small, RoSPA’s Achievements Director, said:

“We are thrilled that CPW has won a RoSPA Award and would like to congratulate them on showing an unwavering commitment to keeping their employees, clients and customers safe from accidental harm and injury.”
