Four years of reducing our impact with Planet Mark

CPW has been measuring our business carbon emissions since 2019 - we are proud to have achieved the Planet Mark Business Certification for a fourth year, continuing our commitment to reduce our impact on society.

Dr Stephen Ball, Director, said: “I’m really pleased we have continued to achieve the Planet Mark Business Certification. We showed a notable reduction in waste and building emissions in 2022 - something which the whole team has had to get behind to achieve.

“For another year, a great amount of effort has gone into collecting the data to ensure we can effectively measure our impact - the first step to tackling our emissions. We are on a mission to continue to reduce our emissions, aiming to be net zero by 2035.”

The Planet Mark Business Certification is an internationally recognised sustainability certification, acknowledging continuous progress, encouraging action and building an empowered community of like-minded individuals.

Planet Mark’s Business Certification covers Scope 1, 2 and some ‘core’ Scope 3 emissions that are easily under organisational control such as waste and business travel.

We have measured our carbon footprint and will continue to take responsibility for our carbon emissions in order to have a positive impact on our planet. We are also contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals as we believe that it’s important, more than ever, to create a sustainable future.
