Bussing Lounge - Birmingham International Airport

Client: Birmingham Airport Limited

Our Approach

We developed the prestigious new £1.9m Bussing Lounge at Birmingham International Airport as a fit-out of a pre-existing 900m2 building. With 5 departure gates at ground level, this elegant and contemporary addition to Birmingham International Airport was carefully designed to save energy. Works also included the relocation of electrical distribution panels and surface mounted equipment, as well as modifications to Alarm System.

CPW has years of experience in working with a wide variety of clients, so we were no strangers to the challenges of operating in a live building environment and working to a strict budget Careful consultation with the client was pivotal to the success of the project.

“CPW were heavily involved with the engagement of all key stakeholders which was instrumental to the success of the overall project and utilised their expertise offering valuable input and guidance throughout the works in a professional and client-focused diligent manner which benefited the project delivery”

Matthew Nairn, Project Engineer
