Our Approach
The ATC is a 3,600m² college set in the heart of Bradford, providing young people and adults access to high quality courses and state of the art technology.
The eco-friendly college specialises in developing people within the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics sectors and is expected to become one of the most prominent educational facilities in Bradford over the coming years.
The design includes a number of progressive and sustainable elements including solar gain mitigation, enhanced building insulation and bespoke heat recovery ventilation systems with high thermal mass.
The roof is carefully configured to include bio-diversity, a large solar array and excellent daylight penetration. The automatic lighting controls ensure maximum energy benefit from this daylight.
