CPW’s Charity Day: Making a Difference in Our Communities

For the second year running, we have dedicated two working days exclusively to charity. During these days, all our offices are closed, providing our staff with the opportunity to make a positive impact in their local communities and to support causes that resonate with them.

These allotted days allow our team members to either raise funds or volunteer their time for worthy causes, with the Directors pledging to match any funds raised. On May 17th, we embarked on our first charity day of 2024, raising an impressive £2,233 for various causes, and contributing over 982 hours of volunteer work.

It was truly inspiring to witness our staff embrace this initiative with such enthusiasm, helping to make a difference and supporting causes within the local community.

Our team supported a range of organisations including Magpas Air Ambulance, Wenlo RDA, Grand Appeal, Electric Daisey and many more, participating in activities such as:

-          Garden clearing and maintenance

-          Litter picking

-          Tabletop sales and coffee mornings

-          Painting and renovation work

-          Animal care at shelters and rescue centres

“It's essential for us to impact each of our local communities positively, as a company with offices across the UK and it's important to us that our teams choose causes close to their hearts.

“We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our staff for making this initiative such a success. It was truly inspiring to see the passion with which our teams approached their activities, and we are excited to continue this journey over the coming years, further strengthening and building on new and existing relationships. At CPW, we firmly believe in the strength of collaboration and knowing that great things can be created together, and that when we support each other, the possibilities are truly endless,” explains John Hauton, Director, and charity lead at CPW.

We look forward to our next charity day which is scheduled for the autumn. Team members are encouraged to start considering which organisations might need our support next. Kudos to everyone within the CPW family for getting involved and for making a difference!
