Planet Mark Certification: Reducing Our Carbon Footprint

We are proud to have achieved the Planet Mark Business Certification for the third year in a row, furthering our commitment to reduce our impact on society.

In the last year we have reduced our carbon footprint by more than 10%. In year two, we achieved an impressive reduction of more than 30%. We hope to continue cutting our emissions year-on-year.

Dr Stephen Ball, Director, said: “This is an incredible achievement involving the entire business. A lot of effort has gone into collecting and processing the data to ensure we can effectively measure our impact.

“Working in an industry that is a massive contributor to emissions, we have a huge responsibility to society and the planet to embed sustainable practices both for our clients and in our own offices. The work we have done so far is a great start, but there is always more we can do.”

The Planet Mark Business Certification is an internationally recognised sustainability certification, acknowledging continuous progress, encouraging action and building an empowered community of like-minded individuals.

We have measured our carbon footprint and will continue to take responsibility for our carbon emissions in order to have a positive impact on our planet. We are also contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals as we believe that it’s important, more than ever, to create a sustainable future.

Steve Malkin, Founder and CEO of Planet Mark, said: “It is great to see CPW join us at Planet Mark. As a team working to make buildings more energy efficient, making sustainable change is their bread and butter, but I am delighted to see their rigorous approach to tackling its own carbon emissions. More companies working to reduce our collective carbon footprint must turn the lens on themselves, and I’m glad to say CPW are leading the way on sustainability.”
