CPW’s electrical engineering team design a wide range of different systems that form part of building services and work in a variety of public and private sectors including:
Our electrical engineering projects
Birmingham International Airport
This elegant and contemporary addition to Birmingham International Airport was carefully designed to save energy. Works included the relocation of electrical distribution panels and surface mounted equipment, as well as modifications to the alarm system.
Great St Mary’s Church Refurbishment
This project, which included the introduction of a number of bespoke features, presented a number of challenges that required meticulous attention to detail. A series of crafted counterbalance units were fitted to allow the specialist church lighting to be lowered for maintenance and lamp replacements. Use of a wireless fire alarm system minimised the number of cables, preserving fabric and aesthetic. High efficiency long-life lamps were used to reduce maintenance and also acted as temperature control for the main church organ.
