Domino’s Pizza Warrington

After successfully delivering Dominos Pizza Group’s flagship Milton Keynes facility, we turned to the client’s new Northern HQ in Warrington project. 

This included collaboration with white wall contractors, specialists and DPG’s own individual suppliers. The new facility is essential to the Domino's pizza operation. It produces mixed dough requiring the storage and transfer of flour and hot and cold water services, and freezes, stores and distributes dough balls to various Domino’s franchises within the UK. A state-of-the-art contemporary wash system with high temperature cleaning is provided.

The facility is also used to store pizza toppings, needing the build of allocated freezer zones and equipment/clothing within Ambient zones. 

Chilled water aids cooling during the summer months and offsets flour temperatures, as well as compressed air services, to adhere to strict regulations from Domino’s suppliers.

A key challenge was designing the temperature controlled environment via air handling plant with as high efficiency as possible.
